I’m Ian Martin. I am a consulting Forest Ecologist and produce Maple Syrup on our family farm in Newfane. I grew up in Londonderry, VT and have a BS in Ecology from Johnson State College and an MS in Forestry from UVM. I left Vermont after graduate school and worked for over 10 years with the National Park Service as a Fire Management Officer and Wildlife Ecologist at parks in Massachusetts, Arizona, California, and Alaska. I left the Park Service and happily returned home to Vermont in 2005.
